However, while we do know that Samsung is probably preparing the update for these devices, we have no clear release date.

Samsung has released total fourth Android 8.0 Oreo beta updates for the Galaxy S8 duos.

With Oreo there will also be the new Samsung Experience 9.0, which we have talked about in a previous article. Yes, the new firmware which he got is accidentally released by the giant. Many tech giants have confirmed the update is a real OTA update of Android Oreo operating system. The update has now been rolled out only in Germany region but it is expected to roll out in other countries in future as well.

It's quite obvious that Samsung has not rolled out this update intentionally and this is a mistake made by someone at the Samsung development team.

Nevertheless, it is heartening to see that Samsung is still actively rolling out the latest OS updates to its older devices.

We are not sure how other people or the users of Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone able to download and install this update.

When it comes to the Galaxy S6, it is hard to say if this phone will ever receive Android 8.0 Oreo. However, this is not the first time that Samsung has rolled out an unscheduled update. A few weeks ago, a Galaxy Note 8 user also got the same Android 8.0 Oreo update.

Previously, the blog had said that the update should arrive by the end of February and, indeed, that could still represent an overall timeframe, given the scale of a global software rollout.
