Automobile major Hyundai Motor India on Wednesday said that it will launch nine new models, including an electric vehicle in the Indian market by 2020.
The company said that the plant in Andhra Pradesh likely to start production by the middle of 2019. The H5X concept has the potential to shatter current benchmarks and pave the way for new SUV standards in India.
In April a year ago, however, the company struck a deal to build a US$1.1 billion manufacturing plant in Anantapur, southeastern India, formally declaring its entry into India.

Commenting on the SP Concept, Kia Motors Corporation Chief Design Officer Peter Schreyer said, "Over the last few years, SUVs have become the vehicle of choice among Indian buyers". The list includes Picanto, Rio, Stonic, Cerato, Cee'd, Cadenza, Stinger, Mohave, Sorento, Sportage and Grand Carnival.
