Next gen. Honda Amaze globally unveiled at Auto Expo 2018, to launch this year

Honda Cars India Ltd (HCIL), the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese auto giant, has finally unveiled the highly awaited All New Honda Amaze 2018 model at theAuto Expo 2018. It gets a new design, a new layout for the cabin, a more efficient new powertrain and the latest in safety and convenience features.
He said that the Japanese company sold around 53 lakh automobile products globally past year with strong contribution from India.
"We are committed to the Indian market and aim to launch six models in the coming three years", said Takahiro Hachigo, President and Representative Director, Honda Motor Co.
The CR-V will come with diesel engine, while the 10th generation Civic will have both petrol and diesel powertrains. The face of the Honda Civic features a new chrome wing design that flows across the top of the headlamps. "Today we announce three of those models - the all-new Amaze, new CR-V and the 10-gen Civic which will be launched in India in FY2018-19".
The company also unveiled the fifth generation CR-V and the much awaited 10th generation Honda Civic, which will make a comeback to the Indian market. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is expected to get a slight bump in power compared to the current Honda Amaze's 98bhp and 200Nm of torque output.

The Civic now features an all-new design which is premium as well as sporty boasting the youthful character of the sedan. It may be noted here that the compact sedan from Honda has been losing out to the new Dzire. Interestingly, it is confirmed that Honda will offer a diesel CVT combo for the new Amaze.
