The CBI had revealed that Gurgaon police had planted the murder weapon, a knife, that was used to kill seven-year old Pradyuman Thakur in Ryan International School, on bus conductor Ashok Kumar. The CBI said that fingerprints found at the crime scene matched with "Bholu".

The charge sheet also had no mention of Ryan Pinto, Augustine Francis Pinto and Grace Pinto, promoters and top management executives of the private school who were granted anticipatory bail by the Punjab and Haryana High Court on October 7 previous year.

However, the CBI refuted the claims stating that the mandatory period for filing a charge sheet is 90 days under CrPC provisions since the accused has been declared an adult by the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB).

On December 20, the JJB had held that the teenager would be tried as an adult and noted that the accused was mature enough to recognise the consequences of his actions.

A sessions court yesterday rejected the bail plea of a 16-year-old student, accused of killing a seven-year-old boy at a private school in Bhondsi here.

The lawyer, Mohit Verma, told PTI that the charges leveled against his client by the SIT need to be examined point-wise in order to defend the case.

The boy found in the pool of blood in school premises near the washroom after which Gurugram police arrested the bus conductor of the same school to murder the boy after which CBI handled the case and arrested the 16-Year-old boy of the same school as accused and released the bus conductor. The schoolbus conductor was arrested the same day for allegedly killing the child.
