As the Auto Expo 2018 has began, South Korean multinational automotive manufacturer, Hyundai has launched i20 Elite Facelift in India.

The Elite i20 price for petrol version starts at RS 534,900 and goes on to RS 790,500. It also gets projector headlamps, new fog lights, new alloy wheel design, revamped LED tail light, elevated licence plate housing and more.

Under the hood, the 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 gets some minor upgrades.

The new Hyundai Elite i20 is among the handful of cars that Hyundai is showcasing at Auto Expo, which also includes the all-new Hyundai Santro, Hyundai Ioniq crossover, as well as its Hyundai N performance cars. The auto will also be available in the new colour - orange. The Hyundai i20 continues with the 1.2-litre petrol engine with a five-speed manual transmission and 1.4-litre diesel engine with a six-speed manual transmission.

The front bumper and fog lamp inserts also got minor changes but more or less the front end of the vehicle remains similar to the outgoing version.

On the inside, the vehicle comes with a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Dual-tone paint scheme, connectivity-rich 17.7-inch navigation system, rear AC vents, Isofix child-seat mounts, standard ABS and dual airbags, optional side and curtain airbags, etc. are some of the features of the auto.

Talking more about the newly launched Hyundai i20, the hatchback gets cascading grille upfront along with new bumper that enhances the overall styling which is in-line with the new-gen products like Verna and Elantra. The 1.4 liter turbocharged CRDI diesel engine with 89 Bhp-220 Nm will be retained, with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.
