The new Super Bowl champs have shown the rapper love, too. The rapper stated how humbled and proud he is to see Philadelphia take the win last night and how much he wishes he could've been on the field with the team to celebrate. "But I have faith that truth and justice will win out in the end". Clark shared the statement on Instagram along with a video of Philly running out of the tunnel to Meek's song. The team chanted along with the lyrics in a joyous locker room after defeating the Patriots, 41-33, to bring Philadelphia its first National Football League championship since 1960. I am from Cincinnati, but that doesn't mean the bengals are my favorite team. He quoted Eagles safety Malcolm Jenkins as saying "it just gave us that juice".

Eagles players including Malcolm Jenkins and Torrey Smith also attended a support rally for the rapper a year ago.

The rapper, who is a big football fan, appeared in court following probation violations related to a 2008 gun and drug case.

While it's uncertain when Meek's verse was recorded, the rapper makes mention of his relationship with Nicki Minaj-"I done bagged a popstar, put a Wraith on the road"- and his probation-"I told her that this Glock if it's real/I'm on probation, I can't go to jail, no".

Before the Eagles thrashed the Minnesota Vikings to reach Super Bowl LII, fans and players alike danced to the 2012 track, and it's become a signature symbol of Philadelphia's playoff run.

The song was the introduction to his first studio album by the same title, and was an immediate success.
