As promised at Monday night's red-carpet premiere of Black Panther, Marvel Studios has released the teaser trailer for Ant-Man and The Wasp, which brings together Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne as partners, and unleashes a giant-size Hello Kitty Pez dispenser.
Paul Rudd will be back as Ant-Man. It's not long before Hank Pym and his daughter, Hope Van Dyne - played by Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lily, respectively - spring into action to bust him out to battle, well, something that's not fully revealed in the trailer.
Ant-Man and The Wasp shall release in India on the 6th of July, 2018. "For me, as a comic nerd, I have always thought of Ant-Man and Wasp as a team", he said. Kevin Feige produced the film, while VictoriaAlonso, Stephen Broussard, Louis D'Esposito, Stan Lee and Charles Newirth served as its executive producers. And what do you hope to see in this anticipated sequel?
"Those characters are experts in the quantum realm". The movie also looks to be keeping the humor and irreverent attitude that made Ant-Man such a surprise hit. If he can do it, why can't we?
"We had a lot of fun playing around with that. But I definitely see the potential there". But, per the mini-speech delivered by Scott's young daughter Cassie (Abby Ryder Fortson) in this first trailer, the sequel doesn't appear to be eschewing the personal element that helped to enrich things in the first go three years back. A highlight is The Wasp, which unlike Ant-Man features wings, shrinking and avoiding thrown knife blades, including running across one.
