The 2018 Screen Actor Guild Awards, which was held on Sunday, January 21 at the Shrine Auditorium, has announced its early winners, which included William H. Macy and Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus has a few more records to her name. "Veep' was also the victor of the Screen Actors Guild Award for best television comedy. So honored to win", she wrote. GLOW's Alison Brie, Grace and Frankie's Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, and Orange Is the New Black's Uzo Aduba all gave fantastic performances this past year, but it was the Veep star who made history with her record-setting win.

Louis-Dreyfus' solo victory made her the first actress in either TV genre to win five individual trophies.

"Veep"'s ensemble win was its first and also ended the three-year reign of "Orange Is the New Black".

Star Matt Walsh told Entertainment Weekly that since wrapping up her final round of chemotherapy, Louis-Dreyfus has slowly been wading back into the acting waters, and has participated in some table reads.

Congratulating her "Veep" cast, she added, "Miss being at the table with you all".

I wish I could have been @SAGawards tonight but have to admit it's pretty fun to watch in my pj's. Moreover, she admitted that she feels honored to be the actor with the most SAG Awards trophies in history.

The actress announced in September she'd been diagnosed with breast cancer.

"I would hide if I had an illness like that, but she's very fearless and also better for it because she's helped other women and other women have supported her".

HBO is pausing production on its Emmy-winning comedy "Veep" while star Julia Louis-Dreyfus undergoes cancer treatment.
