According to MySmartPrice, the launch of the smartphone has been slightly delayed as Xiaomi is waiting for Qualcomm to release the octa-core Snapdragon 632 SoC, a minor downgrade over the Snapdragon 636 chipset that was announced in October past year.

The leaked images of the TPU case of the Mi 6X reveals the device to sport dual camera setup on the rear.

Last week, a listing on the official MWC 2018 website confirmed that Xiaomi will be participating at the annual expo. If this is true then the phone will compete against the Oppo F5 smartphone and Vivo V7 smartphone. As the launch date is close, we have started getting leaked details. Also, the display aspect ratio is expected to be 19:5:9 and not the traditional 18:9 aspect ratio. With this big screen, the phone will be similar to a phablet. It sports a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. With respect to its memory, we could find two different variants, like 4GB of RAM & 32GB of internal storage, or 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The below image corresponds with the previous leaks that claim that the Mi 6X will be arriving with vertically arranged dual camera setup like the Apple iPhone X. However, if the release schedule remains unchanged, Xiaomi should disclose and market the Xiaomi Mi MAX 3 during the second quarter of 2018. There is no information about the operating system on the phone but it is expected that there will be MIUI 9 company owned OS with Android Nougat. The Chinese company is widely expected to take the wraps off its next flagship smartphone at the expo, and a leak now shows what the Mi 7 could look like.
