An entirely new character made for the game, Android 21 acts as the primary antagonist of Dragon Ball FighterZ. Developed by Arc Systems Works, FighterZ utilizes a 3 vs. 3 tag battle system which allows players to assemble teams of their favorite heroes and villains from Dragon Ball Z.

The Dragon Ball series is coming back to the gaming landscape in a big way this week, with the release of Dragon Ball FighterZ almost upon us. The game is scheduled to arrive to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on January 26.

Our Dragon Ball FighterZ review will also be published tomorrow, as soon as we've had time to sample the online features in the full version of the game. We should note that the "change character" option listed above is different from the assist moves, and allows you to change the character you're now playing as, to one who's waiting on the sidelines. "Partnering with Arc System Works, DRAGON BALL FighterZ maximizes high end anime graphics and brings easy to learn (but hard to master) fighting gameplay to audiences worldwide".

There's also the blocking aspect of Dragon Ball FighterZ, which can be hard to master and time correctly.

Most interesting of all, though, is that she can absorb the abilities of those she hits with an impaling beam strike. All characters in the game have two types of Special Moves, one which requires one bar of the Ki Gauge near the bottom of the screen, and a more powerful Special Move which requires three bars. Last week, the Japanese publisher confirmed through Japanese magazines that the new character Android 21 will be playable and today we are able to see more of her in action.
