Paige just recently came back from a neck injury after a long 17 months away from the ring.

Paige's medical troubles began in July 2016 when she had to undergo neck surgery that kept her out of action until the Raw after the 2017 Survivor Series pay-per-view. She finally told WWE because she was starting to make mistakes in the ring and she didn't want to become a danger to others. A stretcher was brought out, however she was able to walk to the back with the help of the doctors.

PWInsider reports that Paige was notified by WWE on Monday at the RAW taping that she will not be cleared to return to wrestling after her latest injury.

Disgusting news for both WWE and Paige, per a new report.

Even though Paige is still 25 years old, she has been wrestling for a very long time.

This could cap off a rollercoaster career for Paige in WWE, which has involved championship wins, drug suspensions, surgeries, returns and controversies aplenty.

The site claims that Paige is believed to have suffered from a stinger, which led to her losing feeling in her extremities.

Paige was scheduled to compete in the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble at the January 28, but it is expected that she will be replaced. The belief now is that she is finished as an in-ring wrestler. Paige was teaming with Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville against Sasha Banks, Bayley & Mickie James.

Much emphasis had been placed upon her return, especially after Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson announced his production company was making a film based on Paige's route to WWE success. She joined WWE's developmental program in 2011 and graduated to the main card in April 2014, before becoming the youngest Diva champion in WWE history.
