Olympic gold medalist Sam Quek commented "This is the best thing I have ever heard", while the song was even retweeted by former Liverpool player Jamie Carragher.

Their stance indicates that they do not want Keita to go, although there are suggestions the 22-year-old's mind is already on his Premier League move.

Philippe Coutinho has undoubtedly left a massive void in the Liverpool squad after his departure to Catalan giants - Barcelona.

"It's great for me personally, because he's one of the best in the world right now, long term if I want to play there then it's a great opportunity for me to learn and see what he does", Gomez told the Daily Mirror.

But as Liverpool found out with Philippe Coutinho, a disgruntled player and a bundle of cash can change a club's position.

German magazine Kicker says Keita has not been impressing in training in a bid to force the German club's hand.

Although far from a like-for-like player, acquiring Keita before this window closes would make up for the loss of a wonderful footballer.

"The latest is that the situation remains the way it was during the whole season", he said at a Bundesliga news conference on Thursday ahead of the game against Schalke.

Despite Leipzig publicly insisting Keita will not be allowed to leave early, The Times reports that the Bundesliga club are more open to the idea behind closed doors. That was all after Jurgen Klopp was desperate to sign him for the current season.

RB Leipzig head coach Ralph Hasenhüttl has debunked media claims that the club are considering selling Naby Keita to Liverpool during the winter transfer window.

Keita has endured a hard period since the transfer to Liverpool was announced, scoring just two goals this season and being sent off three times in three competitions in the space of 39 days earlier in the campaign.
