Through a statement on its website, Ubisoft announced that Assassin's Creed Rogue will arrive on March 20 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It'll run at 1080p by default, or in 4K with said enhancement-capable machines.

Assassin's Creed Rogue was somewhat overlooked upon its initial release. Are you excited to play Assassin's Creed: Rogue Remastered on your PS4 or Xbox One? If you were excited to hear that information, you will be happy to know that Ubisoft confirmed that it is real.

I would find it hard to truly recommend Assassin's Creed Rogue to anyone who is not very entrenched into the story line, especially at its full retail price.

Assassin's Creed is an action-adventure series set in open world environments throughout notable moments in history, such as the Third Crusade, the Golden Age of Pirates, and the Industrial Revolution. The game takes place in North America around the 18th century.

Originally released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC, Assassin's Creed Rogue mixes traditional on-foot gameplay with naval exploration, letting players captain an ice-breaking ship - the Morrigan - as an Assassin-turned-Templar hunting down his former comrades.

Starring Shay Patrick Cormac, players explore the icy North Atlantic, the bustling streets of New York City and a river valley. After a unsafe mission gone tragically wrong, Shay turns his back on the Assassins who, in response, attempt to end his life. He is an assassin who becomes a templar after being betrayed by the brotherhood.

In addition to this, the game will include a new bonus - Bayek's legacy outfit from Assassin's Creed Origins. Naval warfare was a huge feature from Assassin's Creed: Black Flag and Rogue took it to a whole other level. Will you be picking up Assassins Creed Rogue Remastered in March?
