Since the design will likely stay more or less the same as the Galaxy S8, chances are Samsung may use a setup similar to how a certain HTC U11 offers, meaning, the earpiece would double as a secondary speaker.
We have heard a number of specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone, the handset will be made official at Mobile World Congress next month. That said, what's interesting here is the Super Speed Dual Pixel 12 MP rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization that has an aperture of f1.5/f/2.4. Yesterday, DJ Koh (president of Samsung Mobile) himself confirmed that the handset would be unveiled at MWC 2018 - that starts on the 26th of February! The camera will also support super slow-motion video capture.
Citing industry sources, the Investorreports that Samsung Display showed two types of folding devices, both featuring 7.3-inch screens: "infolding" (with the screen on the inside) and "outfolding" (screen on the outside). It is also said that the outfolding phone is more of an advanced technology and might not debut so soon.
Other specs and features that were nearly certain anyway include an iris scanner, 4GB RAM, 64GB of storage, IP68 water and dust resistance and wireless charging support. Not a lot is known about the S9's internal hardware yet, but it would be reasonable to expect some top-of-the-line internal components to power the flagship device. This was speculated to be on the Galaxy S9, and it sounds like that rumor may be coming true. Also stereo speakers are something that fans and critics have for long wished from a high-end Galaxy S phone.
