Leicester City manager Claude Puel has challenged Kelechi Iheanacho to "improve aspects of his play".

Slimani joined the Foxes for a club record of € 30 million in the summer of 2016 on the back of his 31 goals across all competitions for Sporting Lisbon in the 2015-2016 season.

Sources claim that the German coach is not happy that the players have been warming the bench at the Premier League club. Save for a few cup appearances, the Nigeria global does not even make the bench for Premier League games.

Even with Jamie Vardy injured, the Nigeria worldwide could only get 10 minutes in Leicester City's frustrating goalless draw away at Fleetwood Town.

"Slimani played well in the last game", Puel said.

Puel told the UAE 2013 FIFA Under-17 World Cup Golden Ball victor he needs to improve all aspects of his game if he is to force his way into the starting line-up, according to Leicester Mercury.

According to Fanatik, Besiktas president Fikret Orman was in London last week to talk with the player's agent, and the Turkish giants are looking to take him on loan from Leicester City.

Super Eagles technical adviser, Genot Rohr has advised Super Eagles duo of Ahmed Musa and Kelechi Iheanacho to exploit January transfer window to look for new clubs.

Since making the move from Manchester City, the 21-year-old has made just nine Premier League appearances, starting just two of those games.

"He works hard on the pitch and in the training sessions and he needs to continue".
