Arsenal and Liverpool have received a big boost in their pursuit of Monaco star Thomas Lemar, as boss Leonardo Jardim hints that he could leave.

We'll have to wait and see how things develop over the coming weeks but it will be interesting to see how Liverpool would respond if Arsenal were to table a formal offer for Lemar this month.

According to David Anderson of the Daily Mirror, the two Premier League sides are seriously interested in the France global, who is valued at around £90 million by his club.

Thomas Lemar is widely thought to be the favourite, with the Gunners having had a £92m bid accepted back on transfer deadline day in the summer, although there is plenty of competition for his signature with Liverpool also thought to be interested.

Laurens told BBC Radio 5 Live's Euro Leagues Football Show: "I love it how for all Liverpool fans that it's a given that Lemar is going to come and replace Coutinho as early as this month".

The Reds and Gunners have always been linked with Lemar after his stunning form last term piqued their interest, and both are plotting moves for the France worldwide as replacements for Philippe Coutinho and Alexis Sanchez respectively. You know how insane the market is.

Arsenal are said to be still monitoring the situation amid reports claiming that both City and Manchester United are trying to convince the Gunners to part ways with the Chile worldwide this month.

"In the last two transfer windows, last summer and this winter, the numbers have gone up enormously".

"I want to keep Lemar". But the paper says Liverpool are considering paying a premium on top of the fee to bring him in during the January transfer window instead. If I stayed here for 10 years, I'd want Lemar to stay with me for 10 years.
