While the iconic brand has been around since the 1930s, it's safe to say they're evolving with the times and making a feminist statement by choosing Gadot, who is best known for her role as the badass heroine in Wonder Woman (which made her the highest-grossing actress of 2017), in addition to being a mother of two, former soldier, and advocate for women.
"Revlon is thrilled to have Gadot on board, with Anne Talley, global brand president of Revlon, telling the outlet", She's a worldwide symbol of feminine strength and beauty, but she's also a modern, multifaceted woman. "Make-up is fun, and it makes you feel attractive - especially when you're a working mum and you're exhausted!" Revlon is her first big beauty contract.
Gadot's next move goes back to her modelling roots.
We couldn't imagine anyone more fitting to be the face of Revlon'sLive Boldly campaign - a campaign created to bring women together and celebrate diverse beauty. She said: "I try to make sure that [Alma] has good self-esteem and confidence and that she will love herself".
Gal also shared a couple of photos from the campaign on Instagram. Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins is presenting her with the accolade on 11 January (18) at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
Gal Gadot is opening up about her thoughts on feminism as Revlon's new Global Brand Ambassador! The campaign is set to focus on celebrating diverse beauty and empowering women to live life more boldly.
