ICONIC singer Celine Dion will be launching her first-ever tour of Southeast Asia this year, but will be giving Kuala Lumpur a miss.
Dion has been a legend in pop music since her claim to fame in the early '90s when she landed the opportunity to perform on the title track of Disney'sBeauty And The Beast, and the signature song off the 1997 blockbuster Titanic.
The world-renowned singer today announced the dates for her 2018 Asia-Pacific tour, which will kick off in Tokyo, Japan, and will see her performing Jakarta, Singapore, Manila and Bangkok for the first time in her career.
The 49-year-old Canadian singer got quite a surprise during her concert at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas on Friday when she invited the female fan onstage with her.
Her fans were quick to praise the way she handled the situation, with one writing: "I'm impressed". But I hope you understand.
Speaking into her microphone, Celine said: "Let me tell you something". She said at the time that she expected to be better by Tuesday.
Scheduled for July 3 and 4, the concerts will take place at the Marina Bay Sands Grand Ballroom.
"I'm glad that. I thought you just wanted to come closer to me".
Celine Dion is set to perform in Singapore in July, 2018. "I'm glad you came up on stage tonight", she told the fan who appeared somewhat agitated.
The video emerged as Dion canceled her show the following day due to a "nasty virus". "I don't know her, I love her!"
