Christopher Plummer scored a Golden Globe for his performance in "All the Money in the World" mere weeks after landing the gig, which is particularly notable considering he shot it just last month.

Plummer replaced Kevin Spacey's role after sexual misconduct allegations surfaced against the latter actor.

Plummer replaced Spacey in the movie, which also stars Michelle Williams and Mark Wahlberg, after Spacey faced multiple accusations of sexual misconduct and was cut from the film.

Baby Driver, in which Spacey also appears, received a nomination for Ansel Elgort in the title role.

Plummer was nominated for best actor in a supporting role along with Willem Dafoe ("The Florida Project,") Armie Hammer ("Call Me by Your Name"), Richard Jenkins ("The Shape of Water") and Sam Rockwell ("Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri").

"All the Money in the World" has been receiving a lot of attention due to the Spacey situation - among the most shocking of the many Hollywood harassment scandals, so far - but not for much else. The mystery-crime film follows the kidnapping of John Paul Getty III.

The most recent All the Money in the World trailer, released on November 30, features the 87-year-old actor's depiction of Getty refusing to pay his kidnapped grandson's ransom despite being the wealthiest man on Earth.

Spacey issued a statement claiming he did not recall the incident but apologized for what he said would have been "inappropriate drunken behavior".

The public can view the movie December 25.
