Produced and hosted by games journalist Geoff Keighley, the fourth edition of The Game Awards will air on Thursday night at 8:30 PM ET, with tons of awards to hand out and several exciting reveals set to take place throughout the night.

Microsoft is doing just that, slashing up to 60% off a range of nominees on the Microsoft Store. The entire package sells for $189.99, but Game Pass alone would cost you $9.99 per month.

We've rounded up our top picks of the sale below, or you can head on over to the Microsoft Store to browse the full line-up. Looking at the trailer, World War Z appears to be a survival shooter title, as you try to live against the zombie hordes. The film World War Z was directed by Marc Forster and starred Fight Club and Seven star Brad Pitt. Featuring massive swarms of zombies who rush their living prey, World War Z is in production for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC.

The first big announcement out of The Game Awards came right at the start of the pre-show, and it's World War Z, a zombie-survival game coming from Saber Interactive. You'll join other players in co-op campaign action.
