But at the Game Awards show this evening, viewers got the first real, in-depth look in an official trailer. Thankfully, the game's development team over at PUBG Corporation have acknowledged the need for variety and today's Game Awards event was the ideal time to display what new map Miramar has to offer.

Miramar is rolling out to the Battlegrounds public test servers tonight at 12 a.m. PT/ 3 a.m. ET. Do note, that this map will be free to all players.

In addition to this, developer PUBG Corp is adding Miramar.

"The unique terrain and dense urban areas of Miramar will create a new Battle Royale experience where the old strategies may no longer work and new tactics are required". We wanted to go the opposite direction of having lush fields and forests and arrived at the harsh and unforgiving desert of what we can now reveal is Miramar.

There's been a lot of speculation about when exactly PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will hit its 1.0 release on PC and first launch on Xbox One. "And another differentiation from the R1895 is the use of speed loaders, enabling you to load all six rounds simultaneously, greatly accelerating reload times, putting the R45's reload speed more in line with other PUBG pistols".
