Buffalo Bills rookie cornerback Tre'Davious White shook nervously in anger at his locker Thursday while accusing Patriots Rob Gronkowski of being a dirty player for blindsiding him in the back of the head.

"Man, it's a joke, dog". My back turned. I could have broken my neck. I mean, I got a son to raise. "All that. People don't think about that when they just react", he said.

Gronkowski, frustrated after Tom Brady threw an interception in the fourth quarter, lost his cool and pounced on an unsuspecting White, who was on the ground after the play.

"I'm glad I had my mouthpiece in", White said, per ESPN.com. "I probably could've bit my tongue off". Dirty shot, so what does that make him? He was cleared from the NFL's concussion protocol on Thursday, putting him in a position to play Sunday when Buffalo (6-6) hosts Indianapolis (3-9). "Bad headache. It is what it is".

White took issue with the league's decision to suspend Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski for only one game.

"The Competition Committee has clearly expressed its goal of 'eliminating flagrant hits that have no place in our game.' Those hits include the play you were involved in yesterday", he continued.

The Patriots and Bills meet again this season December 24 at Gillette Stadium.

"I'd say on anything that is outside of our control, such as injuries that could go down to pregame workouts and so forth, things that are out of control are out of our control", Belichick said.

Added White: "The guy did what he wanted to do".
