The phone comes with a 6.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2160 pixels at a PPI of 402 pixels per inch. Do keep in mind that Huawei released the special edition "Yixing Zhang" customized version of the phone which comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage as well, and that variant is priced at 3,399 Yuan ($514). Now, the new Nova 2s also offers four cameras but packs high-end specifications and superior build quality. The phone comes as a high-end offering running Android Oreo out of the box, dual camera setup at both the rear and front, and an 18:9 almost bezel-less display.

In terms of connectivity, the Huawei Nova 2s offers dual hybrid SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE (voice over LTE), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, Global Positioning System with GLONASS, NFC and USB Type-C.

Shenzhen-based Chinese multinational tech giant, Huawei, is all set to launch its Nova 2s today. Instead of the latest Kirin 970 AI-powered chipset, the device packs the last-gen Kirin 960 octa-core processor. The dual rear camera setup gets f/1.8 aperture, an LED flash, phase detection autofocus and 4K video recording support. There is also a MicroSD card slot for expanding the storage up to 256GB. For selfies, there is a 20MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the front with f/2.0 aperture. The power button comes with a textured finish to distinguish itself from the volume rocker. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo topped with EMUI 8.0. A 3,340mAh battery supplies the juice.

The unreleased phone's rumored dimensions are practically identical to the Honor 7X's physical measurements, at 156.9 x 75.1 x 7.5mm. Additionally, the Nova 2s features a USB Type-C port, NFC, and a standard headphone jack as well. The China-first (only?) FHD+ phone is tipped to cost 2,899 yuan (around $440) in an "entry-level" 4GB RAM configuration, with two extra gigs of memory fetching CNY 300 more ($485 in total).
