Okami's Amaterasu could come to Dota 2

Basically, Amaterasu could be the good dog your team is looking for.

A courier is a character in each game of Dota 2 that is able to walk or fly items purchased by a player to their owner. There's even a short clip that shows Amaterasu in standard and flying courier animations. The reception has been positive, so it looks like Valve will approve this one for inclusion in its hugely popular MOBA.

Okami's HD remaster, first released on the PS3 five years ago, is scheduled to land on Steam, the PS4, and Xbox One on December 12. They also allow players to see more behind what makes the Okami narrative so unique, with the celestial brush gods offering their guidance.

Okami is a gorgeous game and the art style hasn't been lost in the transition to Dota. She is the Sun Goddess with a quiet, yet indomitable nature.

It isn't just Capcom who is eager to introduce a character from its classic game to "Dota 2". Coffee Stain Studios and Adult Swim Games have submitted couriers based on the goat from Goat Simulator and Mr. Meeseeks from Rick and Morty, respectively.

In the past, titles such as Bastion, Portal, Trine, The Stanley Parable, Fallout 4, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided - BREATHE - Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, Total War: Warhammer and Half-Life 2 have had themed content in the game, ranging from voice overs to content.

Unfortunately, a courier can be killed by opponents, and there's a reason why enemies would do this to a team's courier.

It's understandable why people trying to reach a PC, video games or "nerd culture" centric audience might turn to DOTA 2.
