Then come Friday and Saturday.

Much colder temperatures are in store for central Pennsylvania on Wednesday and into the the weekend, according to forecasters.

There's another opportunity for snow showers Saturday night as well - 40 percent around Newark and along the Shore and 30 percent in the Trenton area.

The weather service said as of now it appears very light precipitation will occur in north Alabama, with a "trace to maybe a few hundredths of an inch" possible, which could make for a dusting on grassy areas. By Saturday afternoon, temperatures will rise to the lower to mid 40s.
