The Employees' Choice Awards program, now in its 10th year, relies exclusively on the input of employees, who elect to provide feedback on their jobs, work environments and companies via Glassdoor.

Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants was the highest-ranked hotel company on the list, at #37.

"We are continuously inspired and encouraged by the positive feedback we receive from our employees through Glassdoor", said David Rice, founder and CEO of New Home Star.

At Ceridian, we create innovative technology that organizations around the world use to attract, develop, manage and pay their people.

Companies that top Glassdoor's list seem to have cracked that code. "What's more", he says "they offer a company culture that their employees truly believe in".

Ten years ago, the housing crash changed the trajectory of the real estate industry and drove many potential job applicants away, but things have changed for this Chicago-based firm. "What we really see them appreciate most is the company's mission-driven culture, transparent leadership and the fact that their work literally impacts the lives of billions of people worldwide".

Ultimate Software is no stranger to such lists, as Fortune magazine ranked Ultimate No. 7 on its "100 Best Companies to Work For" list for 2017; first on its "10 Best Large Workplaces in Technology"; and second on its "100 Best Workplaces for Women".

"Employers where employees love to work continue to prove that they have a recruiting and business performance advantage. We're proud to celebrate the 2018 winners as we mark our tenth anniversary of the Glassdoor Employees' Choice Awards".

And if that's the case, the employers that just made Glassdoor's 10th annual Employees' Choice Awards, honoring the Best Places to Work in 2018, will be ones to keep an eye on in the next year.

The awards are based on the input of workers who provide anonymous feedback through reviews about their job, work environment and employer over the past year.
