Los Angeles police confirmed to BuzzFeed News in March that Masterson had been under investigation by the department and district attorney's office for almost a year over allegations that he violently raped four women in the early 2000's. "[Monday] was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him", Netflix said in a statement (via THR).

"I was sick when I read Netflix's statement on continuing with The Ranch and continuing their working relationship with a man who has violently raped and abused so many women", Bixler told the The Daily Beast.

Now isn't a good time for Netflix and sexual assault allegations.

Four women came forward in March 2017 to accuse Masterson of raping them over a decade ago.

Masterson will still appear in the second half of season two, due out on Netflix on December 15, and could return for parts of the previously announced third season as the streaming giant writes him out of the Ashton Kutcher comedy. The inside sources also said that he will be in a few Season 3 episodes, as well, before his character is gone.

'From day one, I have denied the outrageous allegations against me.

One of Masterson's accusers filed a police report in 2004 saying that she was raped in 2003, but the case didn't move forward.

Yeatman was unaware that the woman was an alleged victim when she approached him. After landing at Netflix, The Ranch cast Debra Winger and Sam Elliott as Kutcher and Masterson's parents. He will also still be in episodes that debut in 2018, though we do not have an exact count on how many of those will feature the "That '70s Show" alum.
