After Jimmy Kimmel's 7-month-old son had a successful second round of surgery on Monday, some famous friends are stepping up to fill in for the late-night host so he can be with his family. The newborn had open-heart surgery a few days after he was born. Initially, Billy's operation was scheduled for the last week of October, but it was postponed due to the common cold.

On Monday, a press release from ABC revealed that Billy had just had another "scheduled and successful heart surgery".

Jimmy Kimmel is off his show this week, but it's for a good reason.

Meanwhile, Kimmel has once again invited some "celebrity Samaritans" to replace him as host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! this week.

Pratt hosts tonight's show, with guest Margot Robbie (I, Tonya) and a performance by country star Chris Stapleton.

During his opening monologue, Pratt admitted that he's nervous about being Kimmel's replacement.

Earlier this year, Pratt surprised the audience at Stapleton's Nashville concert by joining in on vocals for a rendition of "Tennessee Whiskey". Stapleton and Pratt go for broke with their own performance, with the actor beginning the song and Stapleton roaring in.

Wednesday: Neil Patrick Harris will be guest host.
