Honor V10, the smartphone that was unveiled in China last month, went on sale today in China. In terms of storage, it offers 32GB/64GB internal memory and a microSD card of up to 128GB.
■ Huawei has clubbed the processor with 4GB RAM in both 32GB and 64GB storage variants. Honor 9i was another phone the company launched with a bigger full vision display, though that smartphone has dual cameras on the front and back.
The front camera is 13MP and the smartphone is powered by Android 8.0 with EMUI 8.0 on top and has a 3750 mAh battery. Honor 7X embeds its very own 64-bit, Octa-core Kirin 659 processor clocked at 2.36 GHz with Mali-T830 MP2 GPU.
Talking about Honor V10, it is priced between CNY 2699 (roughly Rs 26,300) and CNY 3499 (roughly Rs 34,250). Huawei is still bullish on the idea of weaving AI throughout the smartphone experience, and even though we weren't amazed by the chip's machine-learning chops in the Mate 10, getting that kind of power and potential in a more affordable body is something to celebrate.
Honor has previously blown us away with what it can put in cheaper handsets, and the Honor 7X has made another leap forward by bringing an elongated 18:9 bezel-less display to the mid-range market for the first time.
The Honor 7X has a dual rear camera setup which includes a 16-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, PDAF and a secondary 2-megapixel sensor.
The dual-SIM Honor V10 is backed by a 3750mAh battery which the company claims give 23 hours of talktime.
As you might've heard already, the View 10 uses a 5.99-inch LCD screen that takes up nearly all of the room on the phone's face.
Huawei is also working on depth sensing camera which works like Apple's Face ID and also has the Animoji feature. The phone will come with 4GB RAM on all three configurations. It measures 157 x 74.98 x 6.97mm and weighs 172 grams. Connectivity options like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, 3G and 4G, along with sensors such as Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope are available in the phone.
