Till now at least two PlayStation stores (North America and Chile) have posted the new God of War Release Date for Ps4 as being the 22nd of March, 2018. It's also strengthened by the fact that the art book is listed on Amazon on March 15th, signifying that the game's release date would be around this date.

We're racing towards the end of what's been a stellar year for games, and there's still so many great looking projects on the horizon to get excited for in 2018. And one of those announcements could very well be the release date for God of War, Sony Santa Monica's epic return to Sony's go-to action series. I'd nearly bank on it being in the last week of March. Hopefully we'll be able to lock this date down soon.

Details on the new God of War's release have been fairly sparse, beyond the loose "early 2018" frame that we've been throwing around. We're definitely due for our Kratos fix. Let's not forget that The Game Awards and PlayStation Experience 2017 are mere days away - a confirmed God of War release date would be a big reveal for either event. It is possible that this is the prelude to the revelation of the release date of God of War. We must, therefore, take this information with caution, as it could be an error.
