The DLC will launch alongside a the arrival of Destiny 2 version 1.1.0 which introduces a host of new changes - here's everything you need to know.

Tomorrow's launch of Curse of Osiris is going to be preceded by a period of downtime in which Bungie will update the game.

Thankfully, Bungie is allowing users to preload the Curse of Osiris content so that when the servers are back online, we'll be able to dive in and play.

Curse Of Osiris is Destiny 2's first major DLC and the first half of their expansion pass. Of course, there will also be new gear to unlock, with a bunch of new weapons and armor to outfit your Guardians with. We know little more about the release dates for either DLC expansions right now, but we'll make sure to keep this guide updated with any and all future information. Recently, as a last-ditch effort to retrieve the interest of fans put off by previous controversies, the studio revealed specific details on Curse of Osiris' upcoming weapons and armor via a new YouTube trailer.

There is a scheduled 3-hour maintenance downtime, from 3pm until 6pm, after which the DLC will be playable.

It will also feature battles with the time-travelling Vex in brand new campaign missions.

The video also shows off the new Raid Lair, Eater of Worlds. This unique enemy is referenced through dialogue by Lord Saladin, indicating the Trials of the Nine vendor could play a role in the DLC expansion. For example, there are references to locations found only in the original Destiny, including the Earth's Cosmodrome, the Moon's Hellmouth, Mars, the Reef, Phobos, and the Dreadnaught.
