Zinedine Zidane says he is not anxious about Real Madrid's form as he looks for a win over Apoel in Cyprus which would seal the holders' place in the last 16 of the Champions League.

Don Balon now claims that Madrid president Florentino Perez is considering alternatives to Zidane and has earmarked Low as his top target.

"I don't think the league title is far away, there are still many games to come and many points to play for". Ten points seem like a lot when you look at the league table but things will change, I'm sure we'll cut the gap. There are maybe a few players who play less, but it's a learning curve.

Javier Mascherano's untimely hamstring injury should open the door for Thomas Vermaelen to make his first league appearance of the season, after watching most of the campaign from the stands. I'll be back in no time.

"They are young, [Marco] Asensio, for example, played less last year and now more this year". Ceballos will be the same - he has an extraordinary future.

"It's normal that they play less than other squad players".

"Everyone has a future in this team".

Towards the end of the first half Lucas Hernandez kicked Sergio Ramos in the face as the captain tried to land a diving header, an incident which could have led to a Real penalty and saw Ramos taken off with a fractured nose.

"We can talk about that when the time comes", he said. "They have to win to stay in with a chance, so we need to remain focused".
