The Sun reports that all five Spice Girls will reunite next year with a TV special and a compilation album.

The newspaper reported a round of secret talks has been taking place for several months and all five girls are on board for the 2018 reunion.

Well, the good news is that according to "The Sun", all five are locked in.

"As it stands, they will be working together on a series of projects, which will include an album and a TV special celebrating the Spice Girls", a source told The Sun.

The article claims "Posh" Victoria Beckham has been the most hard Spice Girl to secure for a reunion, but says even she is on board.

That includes one-time Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, whose career has taken her nearly as far as humanly possible away from the confected 1990s pop act scene.

And, the Wannabe hitmakers grew closer this year after Mel B's bitter split from husband Stephen Belafonte hit the news, and she accused him of being abusive and getting their nanny pregnant.

"Gradually the ice thawed", said the source.

Simon Fuller has been working with the group for their reunion, and it appears that all of this has come about in the wake of Mel B's divorce battle, as well as the birth of Geri Halliwell's son, Monty.

The reunion was reportedly spearheaded by Mel C, and if it happens will be the first time the band has collaborated since the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympics.

The 90s girl band consists of Melanie Chisholm, Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Emma Bunton and Geri Horner (née Halliwell).

Fans of the girl group have expressed their excitement on Twitter.
