The Seahawks on Tuesday officially announced the signing of free agent cornerback Byron Maxwell while also signing running back Mike Davis to their 53-man roster. Lane was the starting right cornerback entering the season, but after missing games due to injury, he was not able to regain his starting job from Griffin, who played very well in Lane's absence. Sherman, a four-time Pro Bowler, will end his 2017-18 campaign with 35 total tackles and two interceptions. The veteran corner started opposite Sherman and played a huge role during the Seahawks' back-to-back Super Bowl appearances in the 2013 and 2014 seasons.

The Legion of Boom is getting back a familiar face.

The 29-year-old has gone through a workout with Seattle on Monday morning prior to re-signing with the team. He spent just one season with the Eagles before being moved to the Miami Dolphins and was released from the team back in late October.

Prosise took three carries in the win over Arizona before leaving in the third quarter with a sprained ankle. In the 2016 regular season, he accumulated 172 rushing yards and a touchdown while also catching 17 passes for 208 yards in six games.

Davis was a fourth-round pick of the 49ers in 2015 out of SC. He has 108 yards and one touchdown on the ground to coincide with his 10 career catches for 63 yards.
