Now, wise people in support of flipping off our current POTUS as often as possible are stepping up to raise money for Briskman's post-employment existence. The image went viral and Briskman was later fired after bringing the incident to the attention of her employer, Akima LLC, an engineering company.

Juli Briskman was out cycling in Sterling, Virginia, when she made the gesture towards the USA president as his vehicle left Trump National Golf Course.

In a note, which the campaign says is from her, however, Briskman thanks the donors saying " After I was terminated from my job on October, 31, ...

The billionaire property developer's motorcade overtook the 50-year-old but she managed to eventually catch up and flip President Trump the bird for a second time.

Organizers posted that "Juli Briskman is an inspiration to us all".

She added: "Only one third of Puerto Rico has power". All proceeds are being donated directly to Juli. I'm thinking, he's at the damn golf course again.

Addressing the sacking process itself, the marketing executive said: "They said, 'We're separating from you'". She was sacked shortly thereafter, reportedly because she posted the photo on her social media accounts, which qualified as "obscene" content and supposedly violated her company's employee conduct guidelines.

"I really wasn't going to talk about this until I remembered the fellow that I actually flagged to the company that he had written very obscene things in someone else's conversation on Facebook", Briskman told Megyn Kelly in an interview on NBC.

She said: "I'm angry about where our country is right now".

The FADER has contacted Briskman for further comment.
