This is the second time Betts - a 25-year-old, two-time All-Star who hit 46 doubles and 24 home runs for the Red Sox in 2017 - has competed in the World Series of Bowling, having also done so in 2015.

Betts bowled a flawless 300 game Sunday night in the World Series of Bowling in Reno, Nev.

Mookie Betts and his Boston Red Sox were one of those teams. It's just one of those things where I have to find a way to adjust.

Betts revealed afterwards he has bowled around 10 ideal games in his lifetime, but that this was his first in a Professional Bowlers Association tour event.

Ten flawless games! Is Mookie Betts's name on bowling alleys across the country? Entering Sunday night, he was averaging a 204.71 score through 35 games and ranked 156th out of 195 players. So attaining perfection in bowling may be easier than in baseball but it's still hard. I don't know how much Betts bowls during the baseball season but I have to imagine it's not as much as the bowling pros. A PBA spokesperson told ESPN that Betts will rejoin the PBA bowling tour in February. Leading up to the tournament, Betts began practicing every day to get himself up to snuff.
