Michael Buble has been announced as the latest headlining performer for 2018's British Summer Time Hyde Park festival, with tickets for his show set to go on sale later this week. It is his first scheduled date since he and his wife Luisana Lopilato, the actress, announced in November previous year that Noah, their eldest son, then three, had cancer.

BST marks the Grammy Award-winning artist's return to the industry, and will be Buble's only United Kingdom gig of the year.

Tickets for the gig go on general sale on Friday 17th November.

The Canadian crooner will play the massive show on Friday 13 July, and is the third headliner to be revealed after it was announced that Roger Waters and Bruno Mars will also be gracing the Hyde Park stage for their own dates next summer.

He and his wife Luisana Lopilato said that they were putting their careers on hold while Noah - now four years old - underwent treatment for an unspecified form of cancer.

"My son's recovery is a long process as you all know and he has to continue with check-ups", she said.

A post on the "Haven't Met You Yet" singer's official Facebook page announced he will headline the U.K.'s BST Festival next July.
