"I've been working out for the last five months", De La Hoya told Golden Boy Radio - when he was questioned about the seriousness of his desire to fight McGregor.

In 2014, Jason High shoved the referee after defeat to Rafael Dos Anjos. Now, I don't know what they are going to do.

That said, Redmond tells us there's only 1 way Conor can make it right - A REMATCH (with his teammate, Charlie Ward). Moments later, referee Marc Goddard attempted to remove McGregor from the cage as the bout had not yet been formally ruled a knockout. "That's when I lost it. F-- yous all", McGregor wrote via Twitter on Monday morning.

While McGregor won't meet the same fate as High - he is far too valuable to the UFC - it would be surprising if he does not face some censure.

Bellator 187 took place on Friday at 3Arena in Dublin.

Mazzulli contacted top officials in the UFC following the flashpoints and has claimed that McGregor has been pulled from the December 30 event as a result.

At the end of the first round, after Ward dropped Redmond with a left hook, McGregor scaled the cage to celebrate with Ward who had seemingly vanquished his foe. Recently Mazzulli confirmed that they have informed members of the Association of Boxing Commissioners and the UFC, about McGregor's actions.

'So I do commend the UFC to some extent for doing that.

Mazzulli said that "Mr McGregor is not bigger than MMA", saying that fighter safety is the most important thing. McGregor was not a licensed participant for the event as a cornerman, entered the cage and put his hands on an official.
