He said: "I am not questioning myself about my future".

The 26-year-old played 90 minutes for Wales in the 2-0 defeat to France on Friday but then withdrew from the squad ahead of Tuesday's friendly with Panama.

"They're a great team with so many options so it was a tough task for us tonight", Arsenal midfielder Ramsey told BBC Sport . "I am happy at Arsenal and I am fine with the decision to stay because I want to", said the Frenchman, via the Daily Mail.

The French Football Federation have given Giroud permission to leave the global camp, as they prepare to face Germany in Cologne on Tuesday, and he has now returned back to England.

'I am thinking that the story between the club and myself was not over and not finished.

Olivier Giroud is adamant that he has no regrets about his decision to stay with Arsenal this season despite losing his place as Arsene Wenger's main Premier League striker to club record signing Alexandre Lacazette.

"You're always the first person people point to if the team don't score, but the thing is that I score and I'm doing well with the team". At the end of my career, if I can say that I scored as many goals as him, I will be very proud. I have a lot of objectives with Arsenal and my country so I always try to move forward and keep scoring'.

However, Coleman says it was always the plan for the 26-year-old to play just one game during the global break.

"We have a better understanding on the pitch now especially with the young players so we are very delighted".
