German actress Karin Dor, who played an assassin sent by James Bond's nemesis Blofeld to kill the British agent in 1967's "You Only Live Twice", has died.

Last July, Dor fell and hit her head on a concrete curb and was unconscious for 15 minutes in an incident involving a mum and her buggy, German newspaper Bild reports.

In 1967 movie, Dor's character Helga/ No. 11 was a SPECTRE assassin and secretary to Japanese industrialist Mr. Osato (Teru Shimada). Dor passed away on Monday in a nursing home. Dor died on November 6, 2017.

The German actress, Karin Dor who is popularly known for her work in Edgar Wallace and Karl May films has died at the age of 79.

Playboy founder, Hugh Hefner, also died recently.

Karin Dor born Katherose Derr was born on February 22, 1938, in Wiesbaden, Germany. Dor and Robotham married in 1988, the pair stayed with each other until Robotham's death in 2007.

Director Harald Reinl was impressed with her ability and cast her in The Silent Angel, and then married her in 1954. Because of this she completely failed to recover.
