Flipkart's co-founder Sachin Bansal, who made a comeback to the dayto-day operations at the e-commerce company with the launch of the "Billion" brand earlier this year, is now introducing a smartphone under the private label. The Rs 10,999 device will house 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage while the Rs 12,999 handset will have 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. Additionally, the phone is powered by 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU.

The smartphone comes with a premium metal body and sports a 5.5-inch full HD display coupled with 401 PPI.

One of the highlights of the smartphone is the dual rear camera setup.

Bansal's attempt at building the Billion brand is one of Flipkart's supplementary bets. The smartphone will go on sale starting November 15, of course exclusively, on Flipkart. The cameras come with dual tone LED flash. Customers can also avail interesting deals including No Cost EMI, discounts on leading credit/debit cards and more.

However, with Flipkart launching its own brand, other smartphone players could possibly withdraw selling their smartphones from the platform, thus affecting the sales of the ecommerce major. Both the variants support expandable storage up to 128GB using a microSD card.

A dedicated page for the Billion Capture+ has been unveiled, confirming some of the features of the new Billion Capture+ smartphone. It has fingerprint sensor on the back panel. On the front, the Billion Capture+ features an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling.

At the launch of Billion company, Flipkart told a slew of products including backpacks, mixer grinders, irons, and cookware appliances will be available under the Billion brand. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and an USB Type-C port. The Billion Capture+ is backed by a 3500mAh battery along with QuickCharge for fast charging. With this, the smartphone is said to run for up to 7 hours in just 15 minutes of charge. Few true dual camera phones offer this combination of flagship features. "We're sure this customer-centricity will delight Indian smartphone buyers". The company is also claiming it will have 130 service centres for its phones in over 125 cities in the country.
