However, the 24-year-old, who had made four appearances for Nigeria will be unavailable for the Friday's game against the Desert Warriors in Constantine.

The Super Eagles will miss the services of some regular players in the forthcoming games against Algeria and Argentina, but the Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr, sees the development as an opportunity for other players.

Already, Victor Moses, Elderson Echiejile, Odion Ighalo and Moses Simon have all pulled out due to injuries, while defender Leon Balogun is also reportedly short of match fitness.

"They have a new coach (Raber Madjer) and they are playing at home so they will be very aggressive".

Ready to field a quite different squad for the game, the German coach added, "it's an opportunity for us to see other players who didn't play so much in the qualifiers".

"So, we will have 22 players available for the match in Algeria".

The team will have their final training session on Thursday before taking on Algeria in their last qualifier game in Constantine on Friday.

Stephen, who plays for American Major League Soccer side Real Salt Lake of America, told Complete Sports from his base that he was impressed with Nigeria's performance during the World Cup qualifying campaign.

"So, the second game will be an even more fantastic game also, because Argentina is one of the best teams in the world and perhaps boast of the best players in the world".

The Nigerian team will on Saturday move to Krasnodar in Russian Federation, where they will face Argentina in an global friendly on Tuesday.
