The Rohit Shetty directorial film has now become a second highest grossing film of the year 2017, however, it is the highest grossing Bollywood film as the top one is Baahubali and it was released in Hindi. Trade reports further state that the film earned Rs 135.10 crore approximately on its first weekend, and further added Rs 7 crore and Rs 11 crore approximately on its second Friday and Saturday respectively.
Continuing to draw crowds to the theatres, "Golmaal Again" has earned over Rs 142. The film's worldwide box office collection has inched close to Rs 250-crore mark on its 10th day. According to reviews, the story of Golmaal Again is weak, but the film is high on the fun quotient which makes it an entertainment package overall. Now the film will surely cross the 150 crores mark at the box office on its 9th day at the box office. There are no big films to contest and thus, it will only get bigger. While SS Rajamouli'sBahubali 2: The Conclusion broke a string of records, films like Tubelight, Jab Harry Met Sejal, Chef, Jagga Jasoos among others, didn't bring much cheer to the ticket window.
