If needed, The Oneida County Board of Elections will mail area residents absentee ballots.

That election had a heavy turnout and included balloting for U.S. President and vice president. If voters still need to register, residents have until October 30 to visit www.govotecolorado.com to register and receive a ballot through the mail.

This year's general election includes the Rochester mayoral election, which places incumbent Mayor Lovely Warren against Republican Tony Micciche, Green Party candidate Alex White, Independent Lori White and James Sheppard, running as an independent. The deadline for registering to vote in the upcoming election was Tuesday. Polling places will be open from 6 a.m.to 9 p.m. The office is open from 8 a.m.to 4 p.m. - Friday. and 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday.

Election day is November 7th.

"All the absentees are ready to go", she said at a Wednesday morning election board meeting.

The portal also allows registered voters to preview the ballot and request an absentee ballot.

There are 21, 24-hour ballot drop off boxes and six voter and polling centers in Adams County. If you select multiple options, your vote in that race can not be counted.
