It's all but certain that the bar where Buffalo sauce originated would never allow it anywhere near dairy that isn't blue cheese, but the complaint ship probably sailed once the condiment started flavoring soda and kale chips.

To celebrate the introduction of its new espresso-based drinks to the coffee chain's locations in Buffalo, N.Y., the Buffalo latte promises to be "an unexpectedly delicious sweet and spicy treat". It has all the makings of your classic latte, plus "Buffalo sauce flavor" and "a dusting of zesty Buffalo seasoning".

For a limited time, Tim Horton's is offering Buffalo-flavored lattes in - where else - Buffalo, New York.

The global quick-service coffee chain shared a photo of its new limited Buffalo spice latte to celebrate lattes being served in the area for first time.

That's great, but what does a Buffalo-flavored latte taste like?

Tim Hortonsrecently launched a new espresso line-up featuring premium, handcrafted espresso beverages including lattes, Americanos and cappuccinos - each available hot or iced.

Buffalo wings were invented in a bar in Buffalo, New York, in 1964, so it's appropriate that the freaky beverage will only be available at restaurants in the city.

"Tim Hortonsand Buffalo sauce were both born in 1964, so why not take these two Buffalo staples and combine them?" says Stephen Goldstein, Regional President, Tim HortonsU.S.

Clearly, Tim Hortons think they're onto something here, as the avant-garde meal-turned-latte is being advertised as available "while stocks last".
