UFC on Fox 26, which goes down on December 16 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, now has a headliner - and it is absolute dynamite.

The UFC announced today that a battle of former champions will headline the company's next FOX special as Robbie Lawler, the former welterweight champion, will face Rafael dos Anjos, the former lightweight champion.

Lawler, a former welterweight champion and current No. 1 contender, will take a 28-11 record with one no contest into the fight.

Tickets for the show go on sale to the public on October 20th, and to Fight Club members on October 18th.

Lawler and dos Anjos will meet in a five-round welterweight main event on December 16 from the Bell MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Canada at UFC on FOX 26.

The 35-year-old defended his title twice before losing to Woodley in Fight of the Year candidates against Rory MacDonald and Carlos Condit.

For dos Anjos, the Brazilian will be looking to keep his undefeated streak going in the 170-pound weight division.

The win over Magny was RDA's second win in a row, after he moved up from 155 earlier this year. This news was announced by the UFC on Thursday morning. This is a fight that has the potential to be fantastic, and the victor, could very well lock up a title shot. The eighth-ranked Cirkunov, from Toronto, has won eight of his last nine fights.

The other top fight now on the show is Glover Teixeira (26-6) vs. Misha Cirkunov (13-3).

The event will be aired live on CTV TWO and RDS 2.
