The commissioner also revealed that Davido has been invited back for questioning. NAIJ had earlier reported that Davido had visited the police station to detail his own side of events.

"The victim was alleged to have been brought in by two unidentified males".

The Police Commissioner said he consequently convened a pre-investigation meeting which was attended by family and friends of the deceased, his girlfriend and Davido, as well as the DPO Lion Building and other investigating police officers.

"From the global passport found in the deceased's auto, the DPO gave his identity as Tagbo Umeike".

Nigerian actress, Caroline Danjuma, had accused Davido of Tagbo's death, claiming the singer and his crew abandoned the body at a certain General Hospital in Lagos and absconded.

Edgar further said, "The CCTV footage which I called for from the bar also showed that the deceased was quarrelsome and even violent".

The police had on Wednesday said Tagbo died from suffocation and that Davido lied during questioning.

"Soon a statement and footage will be released, enough is enough". Two other associates of the singer, DJ Olu, 25, and Chime Amaechi, were found lifeless in the former's BMW vehicle parked in the underground garage of Block B, Banana Island, Lagos on Saturday, three days after Tagbo's death.

Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Imohimi Edgal, confirmed that the musician was being quizzed following the revelation by the CCTV footage that he and his friends dumped him in the auto and ran away. And this debunks the singer's claims that he did not know how the deceased got to the hospital.
