OPPO's new smartphone comes with 16 MP of front camera for better video calling experience and taking selfies.

After Oppo F3 and F3 Plus, Oppo has quietly launched a new smartphone in F3 series named as Oppo F3 Lite in Vietnam. Oppo has not made any official announcement regarding the launch of the Oppo F5 smartphone but it is expected that the company will soon announce the launch of Oppo F5 smartphone.

The phone will cost VND5,49 million or around $240 in the country. It features a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor is onboard and is paired with 3GB of RAM. According to the leaks, the Oppo F5 smartphone will come with a bezel-free display. It is already available in India exclusively on Amazon India and in Oppo offline stores. There is 16MP of main camera in the Oppo A57. There is 32GB of internal storage oboard, expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

Oppo recently launched the "Diwali Limited Edition" of its F3 smartphone. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is embedded in its home button. OPPO has revealed that the front camera on the upcoming device will feature its artificial intelligence-powered Beauty Recognition technology, which will use AI to recognise skin tone and type, the gender and age of the subject.

Connectivity options on the phone include- Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, FM Radio, and micro USB v2.0. Unfortunately, much to the disappointment of fans, the F3 Lite device runs a dated Android 6.0 Marshmallow, out-of-the-box. There will also be a 20MP rear camera with LED flash and it will be backed by a 4000mAh battery. It will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat based ColorOS out of the box.
