The Evil Within 2 guides players through a nightmarish world filled with horrifying creatures that want to do nothing more than eat your face.
In The Evil Within 2, Sebastian Castellanos must once again confront unspeakable horrors within the nightmare born from the infamous STEM.
Unfortunately, it seems like The Evil Within 2 isn't PS4 Pro compatible. Locked in STEM, a system that allows multiple people to experience the dream-like worlds and memories, Castellanos must rescue his daughter before some of the baddies also in STEM cause it to fall apart. For those exclusively looking for the survival horror thrills of the first game, its spotlight upon combat will likely be a disappointment, as will its introduction of a tiresome open world.
His daughter, Lily, is not dead.
This Friday, 13th October, sees the release of The Evil Within 2 from Bethesda and Tango Gameworks on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Evil Within 2, directed by game designer John Johanas with Mikami returning as the game's producer and creative supervisor, takes the acclaimed franchise to a new level with its unique blend of psychological thrills and true survival horror.
During all of this, you'll be moving through The Union, a city that has grown within the STEM world that Lily is at the core of.
As always, I'm sure videos on day one and beyond will show how buggy or complete the game is and whether it has significant gameplay elements or not.
