"Everyone is coming at me like I'm hating on Dwayne about his spin-off".

Having sparked an onscreen bromance in Fast & Furious 8, Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham were an obvious choice to spin off for a testosterone-fuelled buddy movie.

It all began when the actor/musician caught wind of The Rock's 2019 standalone spinoff film Hobbs, which he said is "stalling production" for the ninth installment of the Fast and the Furious franchise. "I heard the whole thing in my trailer and I've got to say in all's the biggest piece of dog s**t that I have ever heard".

In the clip, Rock says, "Just a quick shoutout to Tyrese [and] his new album "Black Rose".

Fans of the "The Fast and the Furious" series will have to wait an extra year before seeing what's in store for the series' iconic characters and fast cars.

It is not yet clear if "Furious 10", which has been scheduled for release on April 2, 2021, will be rescheduled as well.

"Haters come in many forms", Tyrese wrote in the caption, signaling that he didn't think the video was very amusing.

The trouble all began when Tyrese took offense at the fact that the highly-anticipated Fast 9 was pushed back.

The Fast & Furious feud betweenTyrese Gibson and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is far from over. So, what's the reason we're pushing the release date back now?

The video is an attempt by Gibson to back up his claims about The Rock being a selfish person that only cares about himself.

Given Wednesday's escalation, it would seem that his attempts to mediate the dispute have been unsuccessful. That decision irked Gibson, who took to social media to issue a tirade of his co-star. That is time I'll never get back.

His passenger, speaking in a different language, clearly doesn't understand what the star is trying to tell him, and Gibson appeals to his fans to help him to help bridge their language barrier: "If y'all know what he's saying, please tell me in the comments". I have a tremendous amount of respect for this franchise that I've enjoyed droppin' blood and sweat in over the years and my vision is to create greater opportunities for not only my fellow FF cast mates, but for other fantastic actors as well who want to be a part of something new and cool.
